Endowed Scholarships
Endowed scholarships are an important source of financial aid for our students. 63% of entering Hiram students receive merit-based scholarships. 87% receive need-based grants.
You determine the selection criteria for the scholarship, within the College's parameters. The Hal Reichle Scholarship, which recognizes academic achievement and community service, is an example of the creative ways Hiram alumni and friends provide financial assistance to Hiram College students.
The Faiver/Clark Scholarship is awarded to students from Niles, Ohio.
My sisters, Susan and Carolyn, and I wanted to honor our parents and Uncle Chris who sacrificed so that we might have the good education that Hiram provided us. What better way to carry on their legacy than to establish an endowed scholarship in their memory! I know that they would be pleased knowing that they will have helped deserving students for decades to come. The torch is passed.
