President's Partnership Initiative
The President's Partnership Initiative Returns in 2006 - 2007!
In the third and final year of the Initiative, Hiram alumni from 1970 through 2006 can help Hiram leverage additional funds from the John P. Murphy Foundation. For every $2 contributed by alumni in these classes, the Foundation will award an additional $1 in support to Hiram, up to $25,000!
By meeting Presidential Partnership challenge goals, donors earned $25,000 for Hiram in 2005 - 2006, and $50,000 in 2004 - 2005. Thank you for helping Hiram to “raise the bar” in support of its students, professors, and facilities.
Your support this year will help us successfully complete all three years of the initiative.
What made this challenge grant so special?
Foundations don’t usually make unrestricted grants to organizations because foundations typically have very specific funding interests. However, the John P. Murphy Foundation believed strongly in President Chema’s vision for Hiram College. As a show of confidence, they issued this challenge grant with the objective of providing the President with resources that could be used wherever the College most needed them to accomplish his objectives.
Thank you for partnering with President Chema to earn this challenge!
