President's Priorities
My association with Hiram
College extends beyond 13 years including 11 years of service as a
member of the Hiram College Board of Trustees. During that time,
Hiram has enjoyed wonderful success in fundraising thanks to the
generosity of alumni and friends. Together, those who care about
this remarkable institution have transformed the Hiram campus and
enhanced Hiram's nationally respected academic program.
But we must do more if we are able to maintain Hiram's place among the country's leading liberal arts institutions. As I begin my second official year as president of Hiram College, I've identified four funding priorities for the months ahead:
- Growing the Hiram Fund
- Expanding the scope of the field station
- Constructing a new fine art center
- Building the Black Box Theatre
I invite you to read about these priorities and would enjoy the opportunity to talk with you about how these initiatives will advance our efforts to secure the Hiram legacy.
Sincerely,
Thomas V. Chema
President
Hiram College
Established in 1850 Hiram, Ohio
