Growing the Hiram Fund
A vibrant annual giving program is the lifeblood of any private liberal arts institution. This is particularly true at Hiram. Gifts to the Hiram Fund go directly to support the operating budget and sustain our historic commitment to making a Hiram education accessible to talented students through scholarships, grants, and other financial aid programs.
But students are not the only beneficiaries of gifts to the Hiram Fund. These important dollars also support faculty salaries, allowing Hiram to recruit and retain talented faculty members who are respected scholars in their discipline and master teachers in the classroom.
Gifts to the Hiram Fund support repair and renovation of facilities, curriculum development, and the many hands-on learning opportunities offered to Hiram students.
During my time as president, I wish to see annual giving to the Hiram Fund grow substantially so that we may fund enhancements to every aspect of the learning environment at Hiram, securing Hiram's ability to continue as a distinctive institution which transforms students and prepares them for their life and their life's work.
